Based on a tru3 story, sometime in the 19th century, a rancher who dwelled deep in the northwest coastal region of Alaska noticed trees were being illegally harvested by the thousands. He didn't take too kindly to this and pleaded with the illicit foresters to move their dealings elsewhere, but they didn't listen. The rancher offered money, gold, and even offered to help them find a new place to harvest trees, but they simply wouldn't budge on their mission to cut down all the old growth trees around the ranchers home. Now the rancher was known to speak the rare and elusive language of "walrus" and summoned an old friend for help. The walrus said "hop aboard, lets show them how we fix things out west"! Together, with tusk and trowel, they ran off the illegal foresters for good and spent their remaining days replanting all the trees that were cut down. Whenever the rancher thought they had planted enough, the walrus yelled "plant more trees"! While the two have not been seen for over 100 years, there have been reports from hikers hearing strange noises in these woods that sound like "the rumblings of a very, very large horse". Today they're known as The Western Rumblers, and this shirt is an ode to this mythical...I mean, totally real tale of man and best friend.
