Great for buffing off knife marks and raised grain on heavily used cutting boards

Wet/Dry abrasive grey sanding pads are designed for the final sand before applying Walrus Oil wood finishes or can be used as the applicator for applying our finishes. They're also great for lightly buffing rough wood surfaces to feel smooth again. The benefits of using nonwoven pads is you get an extremely fine and clean hand-sanded surface similar to steel wool but without the mess and risk of rust stains.

Gives a great finish

Tried these on some cutting boards. Sanded to 220, water to pop the grain, and then used the sanding pads. A little Walrus Oil to finish it and my boards look incredible. As usual, great product from an outstanding company. So happy to support Walrus Oil.

Better than steel wool

These sanding pads are great for removing lifted grain before applying the oil finish. They don’t leave the fine particles like steel wool does that has to be carefully cleared from your work piece.
