Application
Mix Citrus Solvent with oil-based wood finishes to achieve desired consistency and to help finish dry faster. For the first coat, more solvent may be used to help finish penetrate deeper. When applying additional coats of finish, less solvent may be used. As normal, allow 12-24 hours to dry between coats. To thin Pure Tung Oil, Polymerized Tung Oil, Furniture Oil, and Furniture Butter, we recommend starting with a 1:1 ratio (or lower). Due to it’s thickness, to thin Polymerized Linseed Oil start with a 2:1 ratio (solvent-to-finish). Only mix solvent in metal paint cans or metal containers.
Product Care
Store Citrus Solvent in a cool, dry place and keep lid closed at all times. Keep out of reach of children.
