For best results use our Furniture Wax over our oil-based Furniture Finish after it has dried for at least 24 - 48 hrs. Apply thin layer of wax to the entire surface with either a rag or electric buffer. Let it set for 1 hr and then buff away excess residue. Repeat until desired number of coats and look is achieved. After final coat, allow 24 - 48 hrs for surface to become dry to touch. May take up to 1 week to be completely dry to touch and up to 4 weeks to be completely cured. While curing, it's ideal for the wood piece to be kept in a temperature controlled environment. Humidity and high heat can prolong cure time. Keep liquids off surface for up to 4 weeks.
For best results use by expiration date on can. Store at room temperature or in a cool and dry place. Keep can sealed when not in use.
The was is a beautiful finishing touch to the Furniture Finish Oil. An absolute must!!!
I used the Walrus Oil Furniture Finish and loved how smooth it went on and how deep the color was. The Furniture Wax is a terrific topper to give that added protection. Wax on Wax off!
Love this stuff!
After seeing makers on social media having so much success with Walrus oil I decided to give it a try. The release of furniture oil and wax was perfect timing as I am just finishing a crib and dresser build for my son due in October. It is fool proof and easy to use and the look and feel of the finish is incredible. I have no doubt it will last and hold its beauty for years to come. Life long customer after this experience. I also ordered some cutting board oil and wood wax to make cutting boards with the scrap after finishing everything up.
