Application
Prep unfinished surface by sanding at 220-600 grit. Stir well, then apply thin layer to entire surface. Allow 12-24 hours to dry, then wipe away excess. Apply multiple coats for stronger finish.

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container sealed when not in use. For best results, use within 1 year after opening. With proper storage, product can remain effective for 2+ years.

Furniture Butter acts as a 2-in-1 finish with oil and wax that cures to a satin finish and may provide more longer lasting water protection. Furniture Oil is strictly oil that cures to a matte finish.
Can Furniture Butter be used over paints and stains?
Furniture Butter can sometimes be used over wood projects that incorporate milk paint, water based stains, and oil-based stains. Always ensure stained or painted areas are fully cured before applying any of our finishes over them. We also recommend first testing for compatibility on a small area or test board.
